Old Hunter´s Czech Whiskey

Old Hunter’s whiskey is produced by the Palírna U Zeleného stromu (The Green Tree Distillery) in the Czech Republic. This distillery, established in 1518, is considered the oldest in Europe.

Old Hunter’s offers a variety of whiskeys, including their well-known Old Hunter’s Selection Rye Whisky. This particular whiskey is aged for seven years, with the first four years contributing to its delicate and harmonious flavor, and the remaining three years adding complexity and depth. The whiskey is aged in American white oak barrels, which gives it a unique taste profile with warm vanilla notes and a sweet, fruity finish.

The distillery prides itself on its long-standing tradition and meticulous aging process, which takes place in cellars located five meters underground in Prostějov. This environment, combined with their secret recipe, ensures a high-quality product that has been recognized with awards such as the World Whisky Masters 2020.
