HEFFRON

IN HONOUR OF ALL THE CZECHOSLOVAKIAN LEGIONNAIRES FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM 1920 – 2020

The Czechoslovak Legion, after witnessing the end of World War I in Russia, embarked on a circuitous journey around the world to return home. Many legionnaires traveled from the port of Vladivostok across the Pacific Ocean to North America, then by train from Vancouver or San Francisco to the east coast, or by ship through the Panama Canal. They were heading for European ports where they could finally embark on the final leg of their return home.

In honour of all the legionnaires who showed incredible bravery and determination in the fight for freedom and justice, we have created a special product – Heffron Rum. It is named after the last ship that carried the legionnaires all the way from Vladivostok to Panama and finally to Europe. This special offering is based on high-quality Panama rum, in reference to the pivotal role that the country played in the long journey of many Czech legionnaires across the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
