The original rye whiskey matures for 7 years in oak barrels deep in the Green Tree Distillery cellar, five meters underground where it accepts the own story of the oldest European distillery.
Blend master Roman Petruš personally takes care about the quality of rye distillate with a typically sweet aroma of freshly cut rye. The first four years it matures to the softness and fruity taste and only rye spirits from the best barrels according to the 4 + 3 recipe, they mature for another three years, which makes the whisky more complex and its uniqueness fully developed.
