Dingle Distillery and Trade in Spirits are delighted to present the second-last edition in the Celtic Wheel of the Year series – Cónocht an Fomhair Single Malt Whiskey, finished in Rum casks. Cónocht an Fómhair falls between the harvest festival of Lúnasa and the otherworldly festival of Samhain. As an equinox, it brings a natural balance to the land before descending into the depths of winter. Farmers recognise this as a time to prepare for shorter, cooler days ahead. In Dingle, the hedgerows begin to blaze with autumn colour and are laden with blackberries, rose hips and hawthorn berries. Ripe for picking.
