About J.J. Corry The Compass:
The Compass marks the first collaboration between J.J. Corry Irish Whiskey and their Dutch importer, Trade In Spirits (TIS). The TIS logo features a compass, symbolizing the rich maritime histories of the Netherlands, Ireland, and other nations, highlighting the countless voyages undertaken by seafarers.
This 8-year-old cask strength bottling has been matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in an Oloroso sherry cask from Jerez, Spain. Bottled at 57% ABV, The Compass boasts a vibrant Orange Palette, an appropriate color for this Bonder’s Edition, and is named in honor of the historical maritime connection.
Available now at select stores in the Netherlands and online via Trade In Spirits. The Compass is priced at Recommended Retail Price (RRP) €81.99.
Tasting Notes for The Compass
- Nose: Rich and deep notes of vanilla warm spices, dark choclate, orange, and layrs of nuttiness.
- Palate: A lively start with luscious dried fruit, walnuts, butterscotch, baked pears and a slight minerality.
- Finish: Long and Lasting with rich dried fruits.
