A Champagne Maison at the Foot of the Montagne de Reims
Through the ages and for generations, we take roots on a sacred land. The Countess Gérin walks in the footsteps of her noble ancestors on this renowned and pampered land where we let time take its course. Its champagnes, its varieties and its vintages rise in the heart of Champagne heritage and are part of the ongoing search for rare quality, which has already been valued by many awards.
Our cellars, hewn from chalk, preserve discreet treasures: champagnes that, thanks to sustainable cultivation methods, retain their unique character.

Availability
Comtesse Gérin is a small producer whose bottles appear on the menus of top French restaurants and at official gatherings of the French government. It is also carried by select retailers across Europe and specialty wine shops online.
Beyond the Basics
- Cellular aging: Many Comtesse Gérin champagnes spend extended time on lees (36–48 months) before disgorgement, deepening autolytic notes.
- Grower vs. Négociant: Though small, the estate blends the best of grower authenticity with scale-driven precision.
- Cellaring potential: While Grande Réserve is approachable now, 3–5 years of bottle age brings added complexity and depth.
We rely on the past to create the treasures of tomorrow.
