The Clontarf Irish Single Malt Whiskey – RRP 29,31
The Clontarf Irish Single Malt Whiskey is a distinguished Irish whiskey known for its smooth and complex character. Named after the historic Battle of Clontarf in 1014, where the Irish King Brian Boru defeated the Vikings, this whiskey carries a rich heritage.
The initial bottlings were provided by John Teeling, the former owner of Cooley. This whiskey is also triple distilled. Both these and the current bottlings are produced at Bushmills and aged in bourbon barrels. They have a smooth, fruity style with floral notes of barley and subtle wood. J.J. Corry Hanson Whiskey is a unique blended grain Irish whiskey. It is matured in bourbon and American craft whiskey casks sourced from Kentucky, Tennessee, and New York. This whiskey is named after J.J. Corry’s son-in-law, who was known as “The Gauger Hanson” due to his role as a revenue inspector in the early 1900s.
