Following 2.5 years of maturation in new American white oak casks, this SLYRS Single Malt Whisky is finished in original Amontillado casks for another 4 years.
For our SLYRS Single Malt Whisky Amontillado Cask Finish we use rare Amontillado Sherry casks as old as 50 years, sourced from the prestigious Bodegas Tradición in Jerez, Spain.
In the glass it shines a golden yellow. The smell evokes scents of ripe apples, vanilla and green hazelnuts. Strong, spicy-nutty flavor. In the finish it has a slight saline note on the palate with a long and intense lingering effect.
