As no two casks are the same, every Single Cask Whiskey from Dingle Distillery is a unique and singular expression which can never be replicated. The original role of this cask in the maturation of Pedro Ximénez is reflected in the colour, aroma, character and above all, taste of this Irish Single Malt Whiskey.

Firkin 49: Dailuaine 2012 is a single malt Scotch whisky crafted by The Firkin Whisky Co. This unique expression is distilled at the Dailuaine Distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. It is aged in a custom double oak cask, which combines ex-bourbon staves with virgin French oak, and is then soaked with Oloroso and Amontillado sherry to impart rich and complex flavors.To create this rare expression, a single ex-bourbon cask of Dailuaine, distilled in 2012, is given a second maturation in a custom double-oak cask. The cask is hand-made by a skilled cooper and soaked with Oloroso and Amontillado sherry, allowing the wood to absorb the sherry's rich fruity flavors.
